Countess Diana presents fashion creations in her hat studio on Mainau Island

Headwear –especially extravagant ones- fascinated her from early childhood. It was clear to her quite early that she also wanted to design professionally, be creative in a handicraft and produce beautiful and lasting things.

Step by step, she determinedly pursued her professional goal. She achieved the grade ‘very good’ on completion of her milliner’s apprenticeship in 2005. In addition, she also won first place in the Franken chamber prize and second place in the County of Bavaria prize. She has been stylishly presenting her own collections of classic and extravagant hat designs in her hat studio in Mainau Castle since 2006.  Every model is unique, but all hats have something in common: a little rhinestone which is her trademark.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 11am to 4pm
Closed Wednesday
Saturday, Sunday and public holidays 12am to 4pm

Winter:
