Grand Duke Friedrich Terrace

The Grand Duke Friedrich Terrace lies at the north-western edge of the Arboretum and is dedicated to the park’s founder Grand Duke Friedrich I of Baden. A marble bust of the Grand Duke is surrounded by symmetrical flower beds. The historic water reservoir stands in the background. It is no longer in use today, but visitors have a wonderful view of the Arboretum from its roof terrace.
