The queen of flowers has found a spot befitting her status in the Italian Rose Garden [33].
The Walk of Wild and Shrub Roses [16] is characterized by a certain wildness and intense scent.
During summer season, the Roof Garden [48] is decorated with classic hydrangeas.
Mullein flowers (Verbascum thapsiforme) are native medicinal plants. They are also used for dyeing and can be found in the Herb Garden [11].
Often a single flower of the daylily (Hemerocallis) only lasts one day. You are welcome to admire their beauty in the Shrub Garden [44].
The great masterwort (Astrantia major) blooms in the Shrub Garden [44].
The historic citrus collection in the palace courtyard exudes a tempting fresh aroma and lends a Mediterranean flair to the Flower Island.
Viper’s bugloss (Echium vulgare) loves its sunny location in the Insect Garden [17] and enchants us with its blue-violet flowers.
The tulip tree (Liriodendrum tulipifera) in the Arboretum (Tree Collection) [25] is decorated with yellow flowers in June.
The Mediterranean Terrace and the Area of Fountains [36] invite you to enjoy South African flowers, for example African lilies (Agapanthus ‚Twister‘).
In the Shrub Garden [44], the round-headed leek (Allium sphaerocephalon) gently sways in the wind.
In the „Visitor’s Garden“ [18], the kniphofia ‚Alcazar' and the asphodeline offer brilliant color contrasts.
