Things to know about parking during your visit to Mainau Island
To make your arrival as relaxed as possible, we have compiled all the important information about parking for you here at a glance. Whether you are arriving by car, electric vehicle or coach - on this page you will find everything you need to know for a smooth arrival. We also offer practical services such as a shuttle bus and barrier-free routes to make your day on the island of flowers a success from the very beginning.
Mainland parking lot
- Location: Directly at the mainland access to the island of Mainau
- Address for navigation systems: Insel Mainau 1, 78465 Insel Mainau / Point of interest: Mainau
- Registration: Digital license plate recognition on entry and exit
- Payment: At 7 machines on site (cash or cashless) or via the EasyPark app. Please note that additional service fees apply when using the app and discounts are not possible.
- Cost: €6 per day (7.00 am to 11.59 pm), annual pass holders pay €2.
- Night tariff: 12 € (0.00-7.00 a.m.), no discount
- Special features: The first 60 minutes are free of charge. Payment also possible online up to 48 hours after the visit. Simply pay the parking fee here.
Shuttle service
- Period: March 21 to October 19, 2025
- Operating hours: Daily from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm
- Route: Between the island entrance and the parking lot Schwedenschenke
- Costs: Free of charge for guests. Trips are made as required, without a fixed timetable.
Electric vehicles
- Charging station: Available in the parking lot of Mainau Island
- Access: With RFID card from Stadtwerke Konstanz, ladenetz.de, The New Motion or via ladepay.
Accessibility
- Barrier-free parking spaces: Marked area to the right of the employee parking spaces.
- Paths: Largely barrier-free; paths without steps marked in white on the island map.
Coaches
- Parking: Free of charge
- Note: Drivers will receive a voucher for use at the parking machine at the ticket office on site.
Motorcycles
- Parking: Free of charge
