Holiday feeling for sunny minds
Curtain up for the Mediterranean flora of the Mediterranean Terraces: In the extensive park area with its magnificently planted terraces, you can marvel at the unique panorama of the Lake Constance landscape. In spring, you can sit here surrounded by hundreds of tulips, daffodils and imperial crowns and enjoy the warm rays of sunshine. Particularly striking is an old specimen of a trumpet flower (Campsis grandiflora). The climbing shrub blooms in bright orange-red from July. Other subtropical and tropical plants such as palm trees, agaves, ornamental lilies and bougainvillea against a backdrop of chestnut trees and various types of cypress give the impression of being in the Mediterranean. From here, you can also enjoy the marvellous view of the Italian flower water staircase and the dahlia garden. The Swan Fountain was created in 1979 to mark the 70th birthday of Count Lennart Bernadotte.
