Celebrate Midsummer and the beauty of summer with us!
Experience the magic of the longest day of the year at our colorful Swedish Midsummer celebration. Immerse yourself in Nordic traditions, enjoy delicious food, and dance around the Midsummer pole. On both days, from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m., visitors of all ages can experience the special atmosphere of this Scandinavian summer festival.
Get creative and discover
Under the sun canopy, board games invite you to play together. The popular “Zanimal” runaway carousel animals provide entertainment, while little works of art are created as children paint Dala horses (fee applies; € 10.00). Children up to 12 years old can make their own flower wreath from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. (fee applies; € 6.00) or be inspired by Blumi, our Mainau mascot.
Dancing Around the Midsummer Pole
A special highlight of the festival is the traditional dance around the Midsummer pole. Everyone is invited to dance and sing together at 1.00 p.m. and 3.00 p.m.
Music, Wine, and Swedish Delicacies
Swedish treats are available to enjoy throughout the day. In addition, our Open Wine Cellar will once again open its doors. Here, visitors can taste three selected wines for € 10.00 between 12.00 PM and 4.00 PM. Starting at 4.00 p.m., Swedish music will provide an atmospheric conclusion to the festive day and round out the Midsummer experience on Lake Constance.
