He is the "Waltz King", the star of the 19th century. We know his melodies, which conquered the world. But what was his life like away from the stage? How did he feel the pressure of success? How did he live and love?
Join us on an intimate journey to 19th century Vienna. Harald Maier, Secretary General of the Baden-Württemberg State Music Council, brings Johann Strauss to life and shares personal insights into his work and his life. The award-winning Steinway Artist Maximilian Schairer accompanies him on the grand piano.
After the concert: enjoy a tasty cultural snack.
